I love lemonade! My aunt had a Mayer lemon tree in her backyard growing up, they were the best lemons ever! So juicy and delicious! I didn’t like lemons from the grocery store but homegrown Mayer lemons! Soo good!

Anyway this is the perfect immune boost to keep allergies and sickness at bay all though the year! It adds a special refreshing component as well well!

Starting your day out with lemon water is said to have numerous health benefits. It is supposed to aid digestion and help with weight loss.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lemons 🍋
  • One ice cube tray full of ice
  • Splash of milk
  • Sugar (or stevia )
  • 1 teaspoon Barely grass powder (optional)

Oh so in case you haven’t guessed the twist, my Brazilian lemonade is made with lemons! Traditionally Brazilian lemonade is made with limes, not lemons.

Cut most of the peel off the lemons, then cut the lemons in half.

Add ice, milk, and water to fill in how much lemonade you want. I fill it up with my blender three fingers wide from the top.

You can add sugar or not, it’s up to you. I make it both ways depending on what I want. I find that in the mornings I don’t want sugar. However, sometimes in the afternoon or evening, I want a little treat! And trust me this is a real treat!

You could also use stevia as a zero-calorie sweetener. If you wanted a good in-between.
